On A Short Vacation

I've been on bedrest since Tuesday after my check up last Monday. We already saw the heartbeat of the baby and he/she is doing really well. My doctor advised me to be on bedrest for at least 2 weeks until my next check up just make sure that the baby and I will be ok. To date, the baby is now 7 weeks and 2 days old and as of the last TVU, the baby measures 6.6mm and the cardiac activity is 136 beats per minute. And according to the ultrasound result, it will be a summer baby as I am due on June 4. That will be a great wedding anniversary present!

We're really so excited and Paolo is so kind to give in to whatever I crave for. So far, no weird cravings yet. All I want is Pescattora pasta from Cibo, Sandwiches from Pancake House and Sukiyaki soup. So whenever Paolo gets home from work, I always have a pasalubong from him.

So far, I'm not yet bored staying just at home. For someone like me who's used to trekking the concrete jungle of Makati five times a week, this is really a breather. I'm enjoying being a bum and a SAHW. I just watch TV and fight off the nausea by sleeping.

So far so good... Just one more week of bedrest so I really need to take advantage of that!

Separation Anxieties

I wasn't able to sleep well last night. After packing Paolo's stuff for his trip to Singapore this weekend, it dawned on me that I was going to be all alone for 3 nights. This is the first time that we will be apart since we got married and I don't think I will be getting used to sleeping alone in our bed.

Mixed emotions ako the past few days. I'm happy since I know how much a fan of F1 Paolo is and how he has been looking forward to this. Sad that he'll be gone for some time and I'll be alone. Sad too since I thought that I could do some stuff and go out with friends this Saturday but I can't join them anymore since I'm going to be on house arrest. I was even planning to clean out my closet to make room for some new clothes and shoes but I realized it may be too strenous for me. So I just have to content myself with watching TV. I'll catch up with the second season of Gossip Girl and my officemate let me borrow his Brothers and Sisters DVD. I hope these would last me at least until Sunday night since I also plan to have lunch at my parent's house para naman hindi ako masyado ma-bore.

This is the first time that I'm not looking forward to the weekend. Strangely, I'm wishing its Monday na tomorrow..

My shoe size is 6.5. My mom and two of my sisters have the same size as me so we sometimes share shoes but ako talaga selfish with it. I used to hide my pretty and most favorite pair from my sisters kasi their feet are malapad so the shoes loosen when they use it. I rarely wear or borrow din naman their shoes kaya quits lang kami. hehe..

Here are my latest shoe buys. Bought them at the Nine West outlet in Gilroy on our way home from San Francisco. When I find a really nice pair, I tend to buy them in at least two colors... para masaya!
