ENVY

That's what I feel now that the plans of my family to go to Macau this December is finally pushing thru without me!!! We originally planned to treat my parents to this trip to spend my dad's birthday there. I was supposed to be in charge of doing all the reservations online; from our plane tickets from PAL to comparing room rates from websites like asiarooms.com, hotels.com and hotelcombined.com to scout for the best rates for either Wynn Hotel or The Venetian (I personally prefer the Venetian.. hehe). My dad wanted to postpone the trip until I was ready and able to travel (daddy's girl eh! hehe) but my sisters have already arranged their schedules way before and it will be so selfish of me to mess it up. So, they are all set on December 8 to 10 and I think they will be staying at Wynn Hotel since my dad prefers it. I don't want to know the final details coz I'm really really sad that I won't be able to join my family in this trip. They promised to take home some of those Macau delicacies like the dried tapa which I hope I am allowed to eat!

Anyway, another thing that I envy are those pregnant ladies who can still eat or at least have an appetite during the first trimester. There are a couple of ladies here in the office that are also pregnant. Some are like me, in the first trimester, some are in their second and some are just about ready to pop. We sometimes compare our experiences and so far, I am the only one that doesn't have a "pinaglilihian" na food. I don't even have an appetite and as of my last check up, I even lost 2 pounds! After 3 or 4 bites, my stomach will start to feel queasy and I would feel like throwing up. I'm trying to eat healthy and as much as I can though since I already feel guilty that I may be depriving my baby of precious nutrients.

hay tracy that's normal - ako i lost pounds also during the 1st part of the trimester and i ended the 1st trim with the same weight i had pre pregnancy. it's during the 2nd and the 3rd trimna makakabawi ka sa pagkain. ako rin walang pinaglihihan! basta eat when you feel like it, and make sure you eat healthy! drink milk and keep yourself hydrated! re macau, isipin mo na lang, the next trip you'll be planning, may baby in tow na kayo ni paolo!

Hi Mandy, my OB is discouraging me since we waited for this baby for so long! and my family and hubby too wants to be extra extra careful. buti you still got clearance to travel on your 8th month. di ka ba nahirapan? :)

oo nga pala, it's been a long awaited baby. best to wait it out. macau will still be there after the baby comes out. :) it was ok naman, travelling at 8mos. my cousin booked us at a really convenient hotel, so we didn't have to walk far. we took cabs a lot of times. :)
